Color gradation is determined by math! Color gradation is when you have a shading or passing of one tint or shade of color to another, in very small degrees.

This Color Gradation Lesson is provided as a bonus lesson for teachers who want to challenge their students. The mathematic objectives in this lesson include solving and using proportions, percentages, and selecting and computing with appropriate standard or metric units to measure length and area. Formulas are also used.

To incorporate the lesson in the classroom, teachers can acquire the lesson by clicking on the links below. To acquire and print out the lessons, you need the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free.
