Many thanks to the teachers who helped us evaluation the Ohio Math Works website! The drawing of all the names of teachers who participated in the evaluation will be held shortly, and teachers whose names were picked will be notified that they will be receiving a DVD player for their classroom.

The survey was conducted by the University of Cincinnati’s Evaluation Services Center. The Ohio Math Works project was designed to "prepare students for today's job market by giving them a reason to study the mathematics they will need in the world beyond school." OMW links math to exciting careers, and provides classroom projects that simulate math used in those careers. In addition, the OMW classroom projects are geared to helping students meet the challenges provided in the state's 9th grade math proficiency objectives.
