In the summer of 2000, a group of Ohio teachers participated in a special graduate-level mathematics course offered through Miami University. Course instructors were Dr. David E. Kullman of the Miami University Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and Nancy Borchers, math coordinator for West Clermont Local Schools.

The course was designed to be a distance learning experience to help teachers in low-wealth districts learn the mathematics involved in Ohio Math Works and create their own lessons.

Many of the lessons created during the course will be offered on the Ohio Math Works web site. Information on the lessons will featured here, as well as on the "Teachers" page of the OMW site, so check out the Ohio Math Works web site frequently and incorporate the lessons into your classroom work!
